Actress Omoborty celebrating her son's graduation abroad after years of sacrifice and hard work.

“Don’t Get Tired, Don’t Give Up” — Omoborty Shares Emotional Journey As Son Graduates Abroad

Actress Omoborty has opened up about the sacrifices, sleepless nights and financial struggles behind her son’s graduation abroad, using the moment to encourage single parents raising children on their own.

In an emotional social media post, the actress reflected on years of sacrifice and determination, revealing that many people only see the celebration but rarely understand the struggles that made it possible.

According to her, almost every naira she earned was carefully planned around paying international school fees and ensuring her son had the opportunity to succeed.

“Don’t get tired. Don’t give up. Don’t let anybody make you feel your sacrifices are in vain,” she wrote.

Omoborty admitted that there were difficult periods when she questioned how she would continue meeting financial obligations.

She revealed that she sold some of her gold jewellery to pay tuition fees and endured moments when both she and her son broke down in tears during video calls.

The actress said many people assume parents whose children study abroad are wealthy, but often fail to see the enormous responsibilities and sacrifices happening behind the scenes.

“Every kobo that comes into my account is already allocated,” she explained.

She also spoke about the pressure of being judged by appearances, saying some people believe she has unlimited resources because of social media, without understanding the financial commitments she carries privately.

According to her, responsibilities rarely make headlines, yet they consume years of hard work, planning and personal sacrifice.

The proud mother described her son’s graduation as a moment built on faith, prayers, tears, perseverance and God’s grace.

For her, seeing her child reach that milestone made every challenge worthwhile.

Her heartfelt message has since resonated with many parents online, particularly single mothers and fathers who say they understand the emotional and financial burden of raising children while trying to provide them with opportunities for a better future.
