Police in Los Angeles have arrested a woman suspected of firing multiple gunshots outside the Beverly Crest residence of global music star Rihanna.
According to authorities, the incident occurred on Sunday, March 8, at approximately 1:21 p.m. on the 9500 block of Heather Road in Beverly Crest, an upscale neighborhood in Los Angeles.
Investigators say a woman arrived outside the property in a vehicle and fired several rounds toward the house before leaving the area.
Several Shots Fired Toward the Property
The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) said the suspect discharged between seven and nine rounds using what officials described as an AR-15-style rifle.
Authorities confirmed that at least four of the rounds struck the residence, causing damage to the property.
Police officers responding to the scene were seen examining an Airstream trailer parked in the driveway, which investigators believe may have been hit during the shooting.

Suspect Located Miles Away
Following the incident, the suspect reportedly fled the area in her vehicle.
Police later located the car about eight miles (approximately 12 kilometers) away from the residence.
The woman, believed to be in her 30s, was taken into custody without further incident. Authorities have not yet publicly released her identity.
Rihanna Was Home During the Incident
Officials confirmed that Rihanna was inside the residence at the time of the shooting, though no injuries were reported.
The singer and others inside the property were unharmed.
Investigation Underway
The LAPD’s Robbery-Homicide Division has taken over the investigation and is working to determine the motive behind the shooting.
Authorities are expected to examine evidence from the scene, including the damaged property and surveillance footage from nearby homes.
The case remains under investigation.
