Each year in the UK, Mr Culture brings people together for the much-loved African Cultural Celebration Night. Last year’s event was a spectacular carnival of culture, music, and community.
More than 400 people purchased tickets to attend, yet the atmosphere was so vibrant and welcoming that you could hardly tell it was a ticketed event.
This year, the celebration will take a pause in the UK as Ayan De First’s demanding international performance schedule takes him across the world.
His absence from the annual event is a reflection of just how far his work is travelling and how many audiences he is reaching with African culture.

He does not compromise on standards or professionalism, and every performance reflects his commitment to excellence. Through his talent, discipline and passion, Ayan De First continues to turn culture into an unforgettable experience and to proudly carry Africa to the world.

“I eat, sleep and breathe culture. It is deeply embedded in my system and can not simply be taken out. Culture is not just what I do-it is who I am.”
