Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has sparked conversations after saying that regular sex contributes to a woman’s youthful appearance, adding that she is “getting more than enough.”
The 48-year-old actress made the remarks during an appearance on The Morayo Show, hosted by Morayo Afolabi-Brown, while discussing relationships, beauty and life as a single mother.
Responding to a question about the secret behind her youthful looks, Iyabo dismissed the idea that marriage alone determines a woman’s happiness or appearance.
“We (single mothers) are happy. I think some married women are happy too. I don’t think it’s about being single or being married.”
She continued:
“I think it’s about the person that you’re with. Sex has a lot to do with a woman’s glow. I’m getting more than enough. Maybe those with marriage certificates aren’t getting enough.”
Her comments quickly attracted attention online, with many social media users debating her views on relationships and ageing.
Speaking About Paul O
During the interview, Iyabo also spoke about her relationship with music executive and talent manager Paul Okoye, popularly known as Paul O.
She described their relationship as one built on maturity, understanding and mutual respect.
“We’re two mature people and two very busy people, but the most important thing is to understand each other, to support each other and to be there for each other.”
According to the actress, disagreements are a normal part of any relationship.
“We fight and we have our ups and downs. It’s normal, but the most important thing is that we respect each other. We respect our space and what we do, and we just move on with that.”
Iyabo and Paul O publicly confirmed their relationship in 2022 and have since shared moments from their life together on social media.

The actress also reflected on her former marriage to Ademidun Ojo, saying she stayed in the relationship longer than she should have before deciding to leave.
